The Canadian Young Writers Club was started by Sofia Arrouch, a high school student from Ottawa with a deep passion for reading and writing. She envisioned a space where teens who love storytelling—whether through reading, writing, or simply talking about books—could connect, share their work, and support one another. What began as a small idea has grown into a welcoming community of creative teens from all over Canada.

This club isn’t about being “perfect”  at writing—it’s about finding your voice, exploring new ideas, and having fun with words. We host writing challenges, virtual hangouts, and workshops designed to help members grow as writers. Whether you’re finishing your first poem or celebrating your first publication, we’re here to cheer you on every step of the way.
